Sister Stamps Release #4

Are you just as excited as I am about the release of the Sister Stamps "Chinese New Year" images?  I can hardly contain myself. They are being released today. I am a quarter Chinese but it was my pure blooded Hawaiian grandmother who always kept the Chinese traditions strong in our family because she worked with a bunch of Chinese ladies for over 30 years.

Do you remember the restaurant Helena's Hawaiian Food in Kalihi on Oahu? Yeah my grandma was the Hawaiian lady there. LOL! People couldn't believe that because I look so Chinese. Every year on my birthday and Holidays she would give me Li See (red envelope) with money in it. Till this day I have all the Li See she has given me and I also keep one in my wallet in case I may need it.

On to my card... I used Mei Li from Sister Stamps first release. I had some old Asian stamps that my mom passed down to me and just added little embellies. I kept it really simple... well, because I need to practice my creativity. I hope you enjoy and if you are interested in getting these cute images below then check it out here.  Have fun inking them up!
