Play is Learning...

Hi folks...I love quotes and like all scrapbookers I collect them.  Today I wanted to share a quote that I received on my daughter's school calendar.
"Play gives children a chance to practice what they are learning." -Fred Rogers
I hope you enjoy the quote and have a good day!

Hello Kitty Gift

My Niece needed a gift for a friend's birthday party that she would be attending...What better than Hello Kitty? Please pardon all the HK crafts! LOL!
She is just too cute to resist!!! Here is a notepad, composition book, mini composition book, picture frame, and pen.  They were all bought at walmart and the paper is from our local Ben Franklin here in Hilo. Hope you enjoy and have a great day!!!

Book Marks

Hi, hope everyone is having a great weekend!!! Tomorrow I have my Book Club meeting, so I decided to make book marks for my lovely ladies. Our book for discussion is "The Good Earth" by: Pearl S. Buck.  We ended up on this book because our last book was "Pearl of China" by: Anchee Min.
What books have you read this Summer? Well, autumn is coming up and I guess we won't have that much spare time available for reading. Lucky for me I can always squeeze some time in while waiting for my daughter's class.
Hope you enjoy the craft or at least the pretty colors!!! Thanks for looking!

Cork and Magnet Boards

Hi There! I hope your having a fun weekend!!  I needed to make something for my craft room to keep my little notes readily available for me to peek at...So I made a cork board and coordinating magnet board to keep track of things.  The colors go well with my craft room and they are so helpful to have. Thanks for taking a look and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Hello Kitty Composition Books

A few months ago someone placed an order for animal printed composition books.  I never thought to make animal print and I'm so happy she suggested it because I think these are just so adorable.  So, now I'm an animal print fanatic!

Bento anyone?

Today is my daughter's (Hunnie) first FULL day of preschool and so I got to practice my bento making.  This is rice with furikake and seaweed paste on it with a hot dog.  Her sides are edamame and gyozas.  Sorry the picture is blurry!

Welcome

Hi and welcome to my blog!  I finally decided to join the blog world and share my creations.  I absolutely love post it holders because I think little things are so cute and to have Hello Kitty on them is even cuter.
