HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
Hiya everyone!
I knew I needed to make at least one Halloween card this year. Like I said in my post before this one that I don't have a lot of Holiday stuff so I thought well Anya from TGF could just wear Halloween colors. Turns out I had two DP and brads in my stash from who knows when.
I wish everyone a great Halloween! Have a blast with your keiki (children)!

Setsuna Christmas wishes!
Happy Sunday!
Here is a card using the Setsuna image from Sister Stamps. I realized that I don't have much Holiday stuff. I try to stay away from buying too much Holiday items including Halloween, Easter, and others. But I did manage to create some things such as this guy here.
Enjoy what is left of your weekend! Thanks for looking!

Hello there!
I created a card for a couple of challenges. I'm glad I was able to complete this card. I used Kiyomi from Sister Stamps. I wanted to go with a completely different color. A New Baby Has Arrived!
No not from me!!! LOL.
This past weekend I had a Baby Welcoming party to go to. I don't have any baby cards but I thought this would do because you know he'll eventually end up on a surf board.. I hope everyone had a great fall break with the kids home. I sure did! My step children flew over from Oahu to stay a week. We all had a lot of catching up to do. Great great fun.
Well, I wish everyone a wonderful week and happy crafting!

Cool Ebony
It's Friday!!! Here is my own personal challenge card...
I've always practiced coloring Ebony's (The Greeting Farm) hair two tone using black and hot pink. A few times I used black and blue but I like this one. Where's the challenge you say? Well... for me it was having her highlight go through both the black and pink. I still need practice but I'm determined to get it. If you have any tips please share, I searched all Wednesday night. I bought this ribbon a long time ago and knew I needed to incorporate it with her and the flowers are from Prima Marketing. The paper is from Best Creations Inc. and the gemstones from Hero Arts. The charm?... I believe it fell off my daughter's bracelet. LOL!
Thanks for taking a look and for always providing warm wonderful comments. Also, I'll be linking this card to my friend Leanne's blog. She is doing something super fun. Get more info here. Go check out the fun things that others are linking up with. Have a great weekend!!!

Cheeky Beach Card
Hello there... I haven't been posting any cards recently with one sick child followed by another sick child. So completing this card was a challenge. It still looks incomplete to me, I know I need to add some extra things to it but I settled on adding major blingage. LOL! I also practiced the paper piecing on her swimsuit and the beach ball.
My daughter "Hunnie" is totally crazy over this image and claimed Miss Cheeky Beach as being her. So every time she sees me coloring cheeky beach she says "oh mom your coloring me!" I hope you enjoy almost as much as "Hunnie" enjoys looking at herself in this card.
Thanks for taking a peek and Happy Monday!

Sweet Shirl Giveaway
Happy Saturday everyone! I wanted to share what is going on over at my dear friend's blog. Let me tell you a little something about Shirl. As many of you know, I just started blogging two months ago and was nervous as heck, which is part of the reason I don't want my name known. Someday in the future I will change that...
Anyhow back to Shirl... She was the first to leave a comment on my post, the first to follow, and the first to link my blog to hers. And it's been through Shirl that I have made so many blogger friends. But most importantly is all the beautiful comments that she leaves for me and the encouragement she provides to bring out your best craftiness self. I am grateful that this special sweet soul visited my blog and brought her sunshine with her. So you can find this sweetie and all her giveaway information here. And while your there you most certainly have to check out her inspiring creations.
Ok, now I have a sweet for you... in the form of a recipe. I LOVE chocolate chip cookies. And I love two kinds depending on what kind of mood I'm in: crispy and chewy. Here is a crispy recipe that I got through a friend who got through another and so on, sorry I am so sorry I can't give credit where it's due. I did alter it a bit.
Chocolate Chip Cookies with Toffee
2 cups all-purpose unbleached flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/3 cup melted unsalted butter
1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup toffee chips
1. Preheat oven at 300 degrees.
2. Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl and set aside.
3. In a larger bowl add the sugars and melted butter. Beat until well blended.
4. Set mixer on stir and slowly add the flour mixture to the sugar mixture until well blended.
Add vanilla extract and blend again. Add chocolate chips and toffee chips.
5. Pinch into 1TB size lumps. Bake 18-20 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
I hope you enjoy! Have a fun weekend!!!
